Review your current marketing analytics

 

Determining the do’s and don’ts of your current marketing strategies might help you better understand how efficient you are at targeting your audience. What marketing tools have you used that audiences have responded well to? What has your audience not responded well to? 

 

If you have found that your target audience is responding to polls, try incorporating a weekly poll into your social media plan! If you notice your Instagram followers are skipping through your stories and not watching them, try incorporating a short video into your stories, rather than posting 5+ photos. 

 

If you determine what works and what doesn’t, you’ll be able to give your audience what they want from you and grow a stronger following.

 

Recognize the competition

 

If you have multiple competitors, you need to make sure you are standing out above the rest in your marketing efforts. How is your competition targeting the audience you share? What makes your brand unique and how can you best exemplify that? 

 

Consumers like consistency. Determine a way that you can consistently engage with your audience in a way your competitors might not. This will make your audience look forward to seeing your posts, creating a stronger audience retention over your competition.

 

Revise your marketing strategy

 

Once you understand what your audience wants to see from you, it’s easier to figure out how to better suit their needs! You want to build a strong relationship with your audience in order to attract and retain customers and clients with every marketing effort. 

 

In today’s world of marketing, the average consumer is shown 6,000-10,000 advertisements per day. It is crucial to your business that you are successfully marketing your message in a way that is retentive and effective for your audience, while keeping them entertained and engaged in a way so they remember who you are and what you offer.
