Mary Haley
Owner and CEO

I'm Mary Haley, owner, and CEO of MXH Marketing. I've worked in the outdoor recreation and tourism industry for 13 years and have combined that with marketing for the last 5 years. I earned my Master's in Mass Communications from Southern New Hampshire University when I realized how much I loved to tell stories and create messaging.

I'm drawn to the outdoors because of my upbringing and begin my career in it at 18 as a whitewater raft guide. From then on I was the typical Maine seasonal worker. Before starting MXH Marketing I took my first "big kid job" at Main Street Skowhegan and Wesserunsett Arts Council until moving on to Director of Operations at the Maine Outdoor Film Festival. Both experiences provided me with the opportunities to create and lead. My desire to expand my horizons and help more organizations and businesses led to MXH Marketing.

When I'm not creating for clients, I enjoy writing and advocating for the outdoor industry and community--between Netflix binges and outdoor excursions. I spend summers on Maine's rivers whitewater rafting and winters downhill skiing. My 9.5-year-old English Setter is a constant companion and always a source of inspiration.
I'm excited that you're here, reading this, and look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

Taylor Davidson
Marketing Associate

Hi! I'm Taylor, MXH Marketing's Marketing Associate!

The nature of my work life has always leaned towards exploring how to combine elements from all my assorted passions into one exciting life. From elementary education to marketing and social media management, I have been lucky to study and experience each of these worlds in depth over the course of the last seven years.

After high school, I studied Communications and New Media at Southern Maine Community College. While in school, film-making and graphic design stole my heart and continue to play a role in my daily work for clients. My time at SMCC gave me such a great taste of what a career in marketing could look like, and by the time I graduated, I was already freelancing my way into the next chapter in my life.

When I am not creating for clients, you can find me painting, sharing a meal with my loved ones, or soaking up the Maine outdoors. Like most locals or Maine natives, a deep appreciation for the outdoors was instilled in me from a young age. Nature continues to be a source of inspiration and solace for me and is something I look to incorporate into my professional and personal life every chance I get.

I'm excited to get to know you and look forward to working together. I can't wait to be your very own marketeer!
